Bright and spicy with a touch of cardamom! Zhoug (pronounced zoog) is an spicy cilantro sauce originating from Yemen. We added upcycled carrot greens, reducing food waste with every bite! Drizzle the perfect, spicy condiment over beans, yogurt, grilled veggies or add to a salad dressing.

30-40% of food is wasted - we are on a mission to change that and make it taste delicious. We upcycle carrot greens from sustainable farms to add to our sauces. Carrot greens have flavor similar to parsley and taste delicious when combined with cilantro in zhoug. Please refrigerate after opening and consume within three to four weeks of opening as the sauces do not contain preservatives.

Suggested Recipe: Cauliflower steaks drizzled with zhoug or pita and yogurt dip topped with zhoug

I cannot express how obsessed we are with the Spicy Cilantro Zhoug sauce. It didn't even make it a month in our house. And how can it when it goes so perfectly on eggs, sandwiches, popcorn, I could go on and on. This sauce is a game changer, and upcycling never tasted so good.
